Banyan House is a contemporary Thai style house that combines the architectural style of bygone era of King Rama VII and European holiday home design.

Banyan House offers the perfect setting for a peaceful vacation, far away from crowded tourist centers, surrounded by Banyan trees, the gentle giants of the plant kingdom. Each of these grand old Banyan trees is spread out over a vast area, providing shade and shelter to humans all through the year. Their huge trunks and small leaves that flutter continuously in gentle breeze, evoke a strange calming effect in one and all. The encompassing tropical garden is home to a variety of trees and shrubs, many of the flowering kind. All these blend well with the surrounding verdant nature and the pleasant tropical weather of Samui Island.

Banyan House is perched on a small hill facing Gulf of Thailand at North of Chaweng Beach, where the famous ‘Chaweng Beach’ begins. Enjoying sea breeze and its invigorating freshness all day long help guests to unwind and get into a happy holiday mood. Just across the road is the tranquil and picturesque Chaweng Beach affording stunning ocean views of the Thai Gulf.

Banyan House offers the warmest welcome enriched with Thai hospitality from the Thai & English owners of the house, and their four adorable, good-natured Basset Hound dogs kept in kennels.

Drawing from their vast knowledge acquired by working in hospitality industry and living aboard, the owners ensure that guests experience only the best service with genuine Thai hospitality at Banyan House.

The ambience of Banyan House is quiet and tranquil, ideal for vacationing. However, a 10-minutes drive is all that it takes to reach Samui airport and a 15-minutes drive to the livelier central area of Chaweng Beach.
